We wage peace by bringing Muslims and Christians together and creating space for conversations to happen and real relationships to be built.

How We Do It

We believe that peace between Muslims and Christians IS possible. We see it all the time. We bring together Christians and Muslims to share meals and to learn about each other through honest conversations. Most often this happens by bringing together people from local mosques and churches, by hosting panel and group discussions, and by sharing meals at local restaurants or in homes.

Interfaith March for Peace & Justice
This is part of a nationwide event happening on April 29. The Interfaith March for Peace & Justice is a positive, non-partisan event meant to give voice to the following proposition: “It is our intention to affirm the freedom of religion (guaranteed by the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution) and to condemn all acts of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or violence directed at people because of their religion, race, or place of origin.”

Muslim Immigrant Voices
6pm at the Shoreline Mosque
Muslims, Christians, and Jews all share a hospitality tradition dating back to Abraham. It is together and in that welcoming spirit that we want to welcome newcomers to our city. We will first eat together, and then hear some of the stories of our immigrant neighbors. Join us for this potluck dinner (bring a halal or vegetarian dish to share).
