In a time when building just and peaceful communities requires so much change, it can be confusing and overwhelming to understand  how to get involved. Beyond familiar activities like attending a protest or volunteering with a nonprofit, how does social change actually occur? And where do our own unique gifts and passions fit it?

When state violence increases, authoritarianism rises, and the rule of law breaks down, attending protests and writing petitions can feel ineffective. So, what can we do to truly cause change and stop the anti-democratic politics of domination and exclusion from becoming entrenched in our country?
