Join us for this workshop to focus on our relationship to land, water, our non-human community, and our neighbors who bear the brunt of ecological destruction. Together we will discuss what the Scriptures say about our relationship to the earth, how Scripture applies to the crises of our time, and how we might put our Christian faith into action. We will share hopeful stories of changemakers who bring faith to bear in healing the wounds of creation.

Creation care is not only a crucial component of our Christian calling, but an integral element of peacebuilding. Join us as we explore scriptural and theological evidence of God’s call for humans to live in right relationship with all aspects of creation. We'll also examine how combating ecological crises can help reduce international conflict and decrease systemic injustice. Lastly, we'll discuss how taking steps to cultivate care for creation has a tangible impact, not only on the earth itself, but in our own lives, bringing joy, hope, and peace.
