Moses Abolade
PEACEBUILDING CONSULTANT, FACILITATOR, AND PEACE EDUCATOR | NIGERIA
Moses Abolade is a peacebuilding leader, consultant, and facilitator with a long track record of designing and delivering transformative programs that advance peace education, social cohesion, and community development. As the Executive Director of Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), he coordinates innovative, high-impact initiatives that integrate education, media, and grassroots engagement to promote sustainable peace.
Since 2018, Moses has led over 30 strategic peacebuilding interventions across Nigeria and internationally, empowering educators, youth leaders, civil society actors, and policymakers with practical tools for conflict prevention and community resilience. Under his leadership, PEPNET’s reach has expanded significantly through groundbreaking projects such as Peace Zone, a televised peace media program that has reached over one million viewers and amplified public narratives of peace nationwide around Nigeria.
Known for his visionary and inclusive leadership style, Moses has earned multiple national and international accolades, including the Rick Love Young Innovators Award, Lowell Erdahl Peace Award, and the Global Peace Leadership Award. He currently serves as Nigeria’s Youth Lead for the Community of Democracies, a Generation Change Fellow with the United States Institute of Peace, and a board member of the Youth Democratic Network (YDN).
With expertise spanning peace education, curriculum development, media for peace, and youth empowerment, Moses is actively collaborating with universities and peace institutes both around Nigeria and beyond, in order to build a more just, inclusive, and peaceful world.
