Moses ABOLADE
PEACEBUILDING CONSULTANT, FACILITATOR, AND PEACE EDUCATOR | NIGERIA
Moses is a peacebuilding consultant, facilitator, and educator integrating peace education, media for peace, conflict transformation, and human security to foster inclusive and sustainable peace. His work focuses on faith-based peacebuilding, youth leadership, and media-driven learning that empowers communities across divides.
He holds a Bachelor's in Comparative Religious Studies (University of Ilorin), where he led the student association, and a Professional Diploma in Education from the Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, both experiences that shaped his passion for nonviolent education. He earned a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies (University of Ibadan), serving again as student association president, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, researching peace education practices by international NGOs in Abuja.
As Executive Director of the Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), Moses has led over 30 interventions, reaching more than 5,000 educators and youth. He authored the Peace Education for Secondary Schools manual and co-authored the Peace Education Training Manual (PETMANUAL). His TV programme, Peace Zone on KAFTAN TV, engaged over one million viewers nationwide.
Moses’s contributions to peace literature include PEACETOL: A Literature Book for Peace, and articles in Peacemakers in Practice (Routledge, 2024) and the Peace Leadership Collaborative Magazine. He has moderated UN and interfaith policy dialogues and served as Youth Lead for the Community of Democracies (2023–2025). He currently serves on the boards of the Youth Democratic Network and the Peace Ed. Gateway Global Project.
Through Peace Catalyst International, Moses designs faith-rooted, community-based peacebuilding initiatives focused on empathy, trust, and inclusion. He welcomes partnerships that advance peace education, interfaith collaboration, and community resilience.
